Did anyone notice…

Obama mentions his wife in his victory speech: “…The woman who agreed to marry me 20 years ago”

Romney mentions his wife in his concession speech: “… The woman I chose to marry”

It’s amazing how someone’s views on equality can come out in one simple sentence

still relevant

Perhaps fantasy is the right word for second-year Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy.
Just look at his last 20 months: First-team All-Southeastern Conference, BCSChampionship Offensive MVP, AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Pro Bowler. For most that’s a career.
The Packers and fantasy football owners are hoping Lacy’s rookie season, which included 1,178 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, is just the beginning. Lacy is ranked the fifth-best fantasy back by SI, good enough to land him a spot one of three regional fantasy football-themed Sports Illustrated covers (there are four regional covers total).
Lacy’s career goals are simple.
"I want to have a Frank Gore career," he says. "Ten years, man, that’s a long time for a running back."
Lacy’s family was uprooted by Hurricane Katrina, and they even spent this offseason living in a rented $800-a-month trailer. His family will soon move into a $200,000 house in Louisiana. But the 24-year-old isn’t flashy … he still drives a 1995 Chevy Caprice.
Chances are after another productive season, many things in Lacy’s life will receive an upgrade … including his fantasy ranking.
For more on Lacy, check out Ben Reiter’s piece in this week’s issue of Sports Illustrated.
